History of Virginia Tull Fine Arts Series
The Virginia Tull Fine Arts Series was established in 2007 as a ministry and outreach of Wake Forest Baptist Church in Wake Forest, NC. The purpose of the series is to share God's gifts of art and music with others in the community through a variety of quality events featuring talented artists.
Virginia Tull was a long-time member of Wake Forest Baptist Church and was very active in its musical life. She also was a champion of music and the arts in the Wake County Public School System.
Upon determining that the community would benefit from additional access to experiential art and music, the church felt inspired to recognize Mrs. Tull with a named series in her honor.
The series also provides the opportunity to share the church's fine musical instruments, beautiful historic facility, and exceptional acoustic setting with Wake Forest and northern Wake County communities.
Wake Forest Baptist Church is forever grateful for Mrs. Tull's dedication to its music and mission.
